Uplifting trance tips

Hi. I haven't been on this forum in a very long time. I actually have been taking a break from all the VST's and kind of have a block when it comes to making new electronic music, but now I really want to dive into uplifting trance. I listened to the genre, and I love the way it sounds and feels, and it inspires me to make one myself.

Now the attached track I made I KNOW it's NOT uplifting trance, but I really liked the way the track turned out, but when I was trying to make it, I was ATTEMPTING to make it sound uplifting, even though it's in minor key, but it ended up sounding like old school progressive trance.

I just need some tips in order to fully develop a decent uplifting trance track. I do like minor keys. I like the way they sound.
