noise/static in recording

I am having a similar issue. Whenever I choose my out put for my Focusrite interface, it begins to static. If I turn the gain down it helps but it lessers my voice as well of course and the static is still proportionally the same as my voice as far as volume goes. I believe I figured this problem out months ago when it first happened but cannot for the life of me remember how I fixed it. I can try to upload a sample or video or something if someone here is willing to help me out. Also, it’s not as if the static is a surrounding sound In my bedroom studio, it is consistent and obviously is some type of error, it makes this same noise in complete silence. whether it’s my settings or something else I need to get to the bottom of it ASAP. SOS
