You can drag the "Save preset as" menu item to copy a plugin.
As it seems people request this kind of effect copying quite often, maybe you could consider naming it differently or having a separate menu instance just for dragging it named "Copy to another mixer track"? Or something smoother or more intuitive.
Or people could read the manual.
In this day and age that can't be expected
