Auto map mod/pitch wheel

Almost at FL 20 and my modwheel still is not linked automatically?? Why is it that FL is the only DAW I have issues with when it comes to this. I've brought this up many times. I just got a Roland A-88 and no matter what controller type I choose in the midi settings. So frustrating when trying to be productive

Anyone have issues with the mod/pitch wheel not being linked? Don't wanna manually link it because I'll have to do it with every instance or plugin and every time I start a new session. Shouldn't have to either.

I had a template someone created and shared that I modified but it's not working.

Any advice?
