Mixing sounds to make ONE sample

Ok...so I'm still aggressively learning FL 12 and making fantastic progress, but still puzzled by simple things that are basic
in pro tools.
Please help.

example of problem:
I have 3 piano sounds that I want to mix together to make one sound.
They start and stop at different times and I need to mix and fade them to blend together.
In the piano roll I can find a fade in or out and the sample window is vague and only let's you edit
your sound so much.

In Pro tools you just layer them on top of each other and trim, mix and edit all the volumes and fades on top of each other and bammo your
blended sample. You can save it and then use it.
I do not yet know where to do this in FL.
Can someone please help.
I'm sure it's probably not hard, but without a human coach sitting next to me going "No dummy it's this button" I am only as good as I can explain myself on this forum and google.

It's been an amazing experience to see all the teachers (some great and some not so great) that are taking their time to reach back and help the next generation of producers.
I hope one day to be able to help the noobs like me.
Thank you
Boogie
