DMXIS automation, anybody?

Have anyone succeeded in controlling DMXIS by automation (like activate fader 1 in DMXIS, then assign a automation clip to it and then set the level of "RED" or whatever by the clip) in a track.

I get so far that it "is partly working" but when I play the song, the whole FL studio nearly hangs... the view isn´t updated, music plays though, and the results of the (in this case) red channel is not shown (the red might flash up a few times for 0,2 seconds).

If I don´t use automation, but "piano notes" instead, for preprogrammed "colors" in DMXIS then all is fine.
