Hi all. I am trying to find a way to disconnect the border between 2 notes in newtone. All the melody notes are stuck together (share a border) so that moving one affects the length of others attached to it.
The Newtone manual states that if you hold CTRL while dragging a note edge or dragging the whole note itself it will disconnect "if possible" I have not found any notes disconnect when doing this.
A workaround I have found is cutting out a small portion between 2 notes. This will cause the notes to disconnect. However, if you move them close enough they will stick together again (sharing 1 border) and it seems there is no way to disconnect them again other than CTRL+Z
