Basic FL swing Knob Support only two forms about Swing forms.(0~50%, 50~100%)
if you use swing knob in 70~ 110 bpm, there is no problem.
but if you use swing knob in 130 ~ 200 bpm(Double Time tempo), it is too fast so you lost what you want.
and this day, producer use Double Time tempo for they project. 140bpm, not 70bpm
In Quantization folder of fl studio 20, There are many SWING TEMPLATE or SWING SCORES or SWING MIDI.
and if i need different swing style, i use Quantization in fl piano roll.
and big problem is if i want to something change(swing or melody or Drum pattern) you have to change all the patterns.
u will doing same thing all the patterns.
Good thing about swing knob is midi or score be unchanged.
they just change the rhythm.
so i think we need SWING TEMPLATE for swing knob.
so if you load some TEMPLATE, midi note be unchanged.
and If you raise the swing knob, you can get what you want for swing.
and you don't need press Quantization Button everytime for all the patterns.
when swing knob
0% = no swing
50% = 50% amount for your custom swing
100% = 100% amount for your custom swing (you will get 100% swing in swing TEMPLATE)
why FL need this function, because there is many swing rhythm
and Image lines know this fact. so you can find SWING TEMPLATE in FL folder.
and if you load some FPC Midi loop, you can see it is human feel. there is swing.
and many music machine have swing knob and every swing knob is different.(MPC2000,MPC 3000,SP1200, even some analog Machine)
but if we use swing knob or Quantization(use SWING TEMPLATE),
There is a constraint.(you can't use Double Time, if you want different swing you can use Quantization but you should apply it to all patterns.
and if you want change, you have a big problem.)
So One small feature make all different.
load custom SWING TEMPLATE and use swing knob that what you want.
you don't need change every patterns. you can use swing knob in Double Time tempo.
