Hey IL fam,
I found a new appreciation for hardware synths, most of which are from the 80s and 90s.
The ideal workflow for these older midi synths is to use their hardware interfaces and also have the ability to easily automate in DAW. I really appreciate the ease of use with 1 to 1 control mappings so there is a dedicated hardware and software knob or slider for each internal parameter.
I currently have a Behringer DeepMind12 and a Yamaha S80 that I'm working with. I'm also building a synth from the ADAFruit DSP-G1 voice chip.
If anybody has already done some hardware dashboards, please share them in here so we can publish them together and get some synergy in our collaborative work.
