Pitch Automation Clip Lag on VST's such as Spire

I'm trying to recreate the Brooks Pitch Automation Lead but I have this one problem I cant figure out and I've spent 5 months exact trying to figure it out. When the parameters of an automation clip is precise it doesn't change pitch correctly or sometime does nothing at all. There is a lag on the automation clips and I'm pretty sure it has to do with any generator vst that has a pitch mod wheel being automated. Brooks has up to 5 Spires being pitch automated by 1 automation clip without any lag but I have lag and I'm using a newer Fl Studio than him with a stronger CPU. Any ideas on how to fix this would mean everything to me, thank you
