The thing he was promising to do was flats. You have to read back a ways in that thread to see that. Personally I'd be happy to just take the labels off of the black keys altogether. Pianos don't have labels on the keys. What I object to is the annoying cognitive dissonance when I'm in some key like F minor or Bb minor, of seeing them labeled with sharps when I know they're flats! It's distracting like IF I chanGed the weight and capitalization of text as I type. Sure, you can still read it, but it's distracting, annoying and superfluous.

And just turning off the # labels altogether would probably take someone about 10 minutes of programming; or maybe an hour or two if they wanted a switch or setting to turn them on/off.
