what i'm looking for is the best automation solution for maximum flexibility in re-arranging and moving around entire sections of a track
If you use one automation clip the entire length of the track for a given parameter, you would have to slice it up and "scramble" it as you move around the patterns it is assigned to (unless you want to redraw the automation)
a possible solution would be creating a separate automation clip for each individual section, but this generates more automation clips in total
Is there a way to consolidate automation clips? this would seem to be an answer, as you could cut and scramble automation clips in order to move them around. Then, re-consolidate back into one clip to keep the channel rack less cluttered with automation clips. How do you guys deal with this?
