Of course they would, people complain about everything, they already do even without language support. Maybe the complainers would be people who would have otherwise never touched FL because of the language barrier.
Anyway, I didn't say doing this would be easy by any stretch of the imaginations, but expectations can be managed. The fallacy is "if we do this one step then we HAVE to go all the way and do ALL these other things", which is simply not true, and there are software projects that successfully handle translations like that. Shrug.
