slicing items in one lane cuts items in collapse/hidden lanes

Hi all, the new workflow changes including being able to hide collapsed group tracks has been a game changer for me

However, I have found one issue with this. When cutting playlist items on one lane, it will also cut hidden items in the lane above and below it. Sometimes you don't even realize it until you open up those collapsed lanes and find automation clips cut to hell. one workaround would be to first expand any collapsed lanes above and below the lane containing the clips you are cutting, however this is a bit cumbersome to always remember to do before slicing. Are there any developments in the works for this or any other potential workarounds?
