I’m trying to record a guitar track into FL through my Scarlett 2i2, monitoring through headphones.
Problem #1: Every time I try to record my guitar into a mixer track (no other audio is linked to this track) the metronome records into the mixer as well. It’s feint compared to the amplitude of the metronome in the master track, but still noticeable and annoying. It’s more loud if I turn up the volume on my Scarlett or on my guitar. No, I’m not recording into the master.
Problem #2: While I’m loop recording in Edison, everything is fine, but after a while random stuttering happens and the audio will pause for a few seconds and then resume playing. It becomes more frequent the longer I’ve been recording, though I’m only recording for 2-3 minutes at the most, so that I have a few takes to audition and choose from.
Anyone have any solutions to either or both of these problems?
