Recorded Audio Clips keep Stretching Themsleves

Hi Guys

I have just been trying to record some guitar tracks into FL Studio. One major problem is that the resultant clips in the playlist view keep resizing and stretching themselves?

This is happening even after Ive clicked the little stretch audio and zero crossing buttons

Any Ideas what I'm doing wrong

Also, the piece I'm working on is in 7/8 if that has anything to do with it?
