I am a few months into Fl studio, it is my first DAW and I have been recording music with it and making songs. I notice that after exporting the song It is quieter compared to other songs that i would listen to regularly, and I wonder why. After looking around and researching there is some things you can do while exporting to keep the sound quality good, but nothing specifically for volume. I saw somewhere that you shouldn’t let the master current go over 0 decibels and if you do it will start to clip. I am Now wondering if it is the way i recorded the music, But would really love some help or tips. In the future I’d like this problem to be fixed before I continue to make more music.
