Can I automate a send if the tracks feeding it have APDC??

Hello,

If I automate an effect on a send (when the mixer channels that link to it have automatic latency compensation) will that automation be on time?

For example, if I have a lead sound on mixer track 1 with a bunch of effects and latency on it, my understanding is that the audio gets sent to the send POST all of the effects.

Now, my question is if I were to automate the volume of a reverb on the send, will that automation be latency compensated or no? Does the latency somehow get reset post-mixer?

Because people have told me the solution to automation latency compensation would be to automate post-latency... but how can I do this on a send or in a scenario exactly like this where it must be automated post-effects because I must have my reverb affect my FX'ed sound..???
