So yesterday i have brought Yamaha PSR e363 digital keyboard which has usb midi feature.
I just hooked it up with usb printer cable with my pc and fl detects it automatically. I did not install any driver from yamaha. But i can use it as a midi keyboard.
My question is, so why are there those midi driver from yamaha ? I tried to install that midi driver but it every times says no device is connected though my keyboard is already connected. Why this is happening ? Also i have heard that i can record my keyboard sound with the usb. So how can i do that ?
Most importantly how can i mute my keyboard sound when i am using it as midi keyboard ? I know that i can simply turn the master volume off from the keyboard, but is there any other way ?
Please help me , i just brought it yesterday, so i am super excited to know more about it
Can anyone provide me a in depth guide about it midi feature
