multiple video monitor usage, how and what? <- answered

I went out and bought me a nice big second monitor for my laptop - Vista Home OS
I have them set up where the second monitor is an extension of the windoze desktop on the right, so for example I can open up a notepad on the laptop screen and then drag it to the right until it is on the new external monitor.

I can not seem to get the FLStudio 8 widows to drag over there for more display 'real estate'.
I tried dragging a playlist and a mixer window.

I did go to Options General settings and tried both box settings for 'don't limit windows to screen', but still no joy.

Am I missing something?
