Audio Stems next to eachother disrupting one another

Hey, so I got two different audio stems with 3-4 Automation Clips on each stem. I've encountered this problem before when the second audio stem which comes after (even with 5-10second gap) won't play at (all) its full volume? I can barely hear it, it is playing at an inaudible level almost, but it (second stem) is playing according to the mixer.

The first obvious suspicion I had was, that some of the automation clip (i.e volume) from the first stem was passing onto to the second audio clip, but since they are not sharing the same mixer channel (#13 and #14) - well, I am now clueless and here I am.
I hope it's the right forum section as well..

Thanks

EDIT: So, what would be the simplest way to combine these two audio stems into one file? I am thinking to somehow merge them in Edison perhaps.
