I can't get this to work. For me, every FL Studio instance seems to have its own local clipboard. Selecting and copying a bunch of midi notes in the piano roll of one FL Studio window only allows me to paste them in that specific window. The same goes for whole patterns (Drag & Drop doesn't work, either). You can use multiple FL Studio instances concurrently.
You can then Cut & Paste, Drag & Drop certain types of data (audio, MIDI, etc.) between instances.
I'm running FL Studio v20.6.2 on Windows 10 Home.
The reason I need this is that I'm trying to make a remix of an existing song, of which I have a midi file. My plan is to have the latter open in one FL window as a reference and build my song in another window from scratch. Occationally, I'll want to copy a few midi notes over, so exporting stuff to the hard disk from one instance and then importing them in another would be very cumbersome.
