BSOD When Changing Buffer Length

Ok this is really starting to get on my nerves....

I'm trying to fix a latency issue with my hardware, but literally every time I try to change the buffer length, my computer freezes for a second and then I get the dreaded BSOD.

I'm using focusrite scarlett 18i20 on a 64 bit windows system.

I have updated the drivers and tried different USB ports (2.0 and 3.0). I ran DPC Latency Checker and it's telling me everything is hunky dory.

I tried disconnecting everything else from the usb ports, apart from the interface of course to rule out any interference from other devices.

Oh and I tried changing the buffer from an empty project as well so i know there isn't an issue with any VSTs.

The sample rate of both FL and my Interface CP are set to 44100

Any pointers would be very much appreciated...
