I haven`t expressed myself properly
in Live we can set GUI scaling in % we want... 132, 146 ,189 % etc , just by scrolling / dragging a mouse. there`s no need to reboot DAW
it`s flexible
let`s say I work on big project and I would like to scroll between 80 % and 150 % scaling - for example I`d like to see how " wide " is my mixer = how many tracks I have / 80 % scaling / and then scroll back to 150 % GUI scaling to make it bigger to see it properly
another example - let`s say I`m working on sound design - I`ve got 150 % scaling and Sakura / or another MAXX synth / because GUI on those synths is so small I have to make global GUI bigger / 150% / and then I`d like to make few layers in channel rack and straight jump to playlist -100 % scaling
another example - browser - let`s say I need bigger font because I wear glasses, then I have to set global GUI to 200 %, however right now piano roll is so huge I cannot work on it , so I have to set GUI to 150 % again , reboot again and again and again ...
it`s a workflow killer
global GUI is there, and that`s my bad I hadn`t explained it properly, however when you set it , you`re basically done there`s no way back / other than reboot / = it affects every other aspects of your workflow
