I noticed this too. If a third party VST3 plugin already utilise the right-click for some other function (such as internal popup menu, etc.) then the standard FL Studio functionality is negated.shroomhead_one wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 11:07 amYou are wrong. Not every VST3 plugin has this option. This is all up to whether the 3rd party developer binds right click to stuff or lets the host have the right click. Kilohearts for example use the right click to let you type in values.
I wonder however, could Image-Line include an 'override' key modifier for such a scenario?
Like for example, if an uncommon key combination (like Shift + Alt) where held down in combination with a right-click?
Just something to tell the plugin wrapper not to communicate the right-click trigger to the plugin (when that key modifier is depressed?) resulting in defaulting back to the standard DAW right-click menu instead? (like within Fabfilter plugins, since they don't utilize the right-click). Or is this something that 'has' to be coded internally within each VST3 plugin?
Would certainly help with quicker, more direct automation workflows via those other third party VST3 plugins.
