The Metronome click gets recorded in Edison while recording vocals.

I record my vocals using a (Headphone, which has a Microphone attached to it).

There is a portion in my song where the vocals need to be sung just with the music and no
percussion. So I need to turn on the metronome.

Everytime I try to record my vocals with my track using Edison, the metronome click gets
recorded and spoils the recording.

How do I stop the metronome click from getting recorded in Edison ?
