Best widener (mono-compatible)

Hi,

what's the best widener? Example: making vocals "wider" but keep them mono-compatible (no phasing issues).

Also the effect should be able to transform mono signals into stereo ones.

Checked so far:

- bx_solo (only makes stereo signals wider)
- Wider
- Melda StereoSpread (nice to set the minimum freq, so no bass freqs are processed)

Any other ideas? Maybe native plugins? Patcher? ...?
