I am a long time user of Schaack Audio Transient Shaper, which is a quite old plugin but IMO is still the best transient shaper due to its Drive knob (basically saturation/soft clipping) which you can use to shave off peaks after boosting transients.
I noticed Image Line added their own transient processor which I had never even opened until today, but upon opening it I realised it looks, and functions exactly the same as the Schaack Audio one.
Am I right in thinking that Schaack Audio must have licensed their code to Image Line to use in FL Studio for their own plugin? or did they just try and emulate it?
I've attached a photo of them side by side for your reference.
