Say I create a wee loop that's around 4 bars long with a VST, and then with that same VST I create another 4 bar loop that has a bit of counterpoint going on and I decide to overlap them, is there a way for me to pan the first 4 bar loop to the left ear and the other 4 bar loop to the right? Or is this only possible with actual wav files, and not midi?
What I'd really like to do is do hard pans of both of these loops to cross over both left/right every few seconds from time to time. I'm creating a wee dungeon track for a game where I want to use this type of panning for a disorienting effect momentarily.
Pan different loop instances of the same VST?
