CME UF60 PROBLEM : PLEASE HELP

Hey

Just recently purchased CME'S UF60 and suprisingly managed to get all functions working which was a relief, but now ive come across a problem
which i hope you guys can help with.

As you may know the uf has 8 sliders excluding the volume slider, i currently have these 8 sliders linked to the first 8 mixer volume sliders on FL Studio,
what i am trying to do is use the further 2nd and 3rd layer for the sliders to stretch further up the mixer (9 - 17) + (18 - 26). the way im trying to acheive this
is i believe the usual way by right clicking slider (9) / link to controller / making sure the auto detect is ticked and moving slider 1 on layer 2 on the keyboard
but when i move the slider nothing happens and i know midi data is being sent as i can still see mixer slider 1 moving as mixer channels 1-8 seem to be linked
to all layers. I have also tryed doing this with the knobs and it works fine throughout the layers.

Here are my current midi settings for the keyboard if it helps
................
Plugged in Via USB not Widi

Output - CME UF - Send master sync on
Input - CME UF (Enabled) - Controller Type: CME UF Omnipotent Master Keyboard
MIDIIN2 CME UF (Enabled) - Controller Type: Mackie Control Universal

The Rest is all defaulted
................
so yeah im abit lost on what to do, any help would be much appreciated
