Proteus X / FL 8 Problem

Im new to FL8 and i just bought an E-MU X board49 midi keyboard. It came with Proteus X which i think i installed properly. I can open Proteus and click on sound with my mouse in the library to play it, but my keyboard doesnt make any sound.. I think i have to load it to the keyboard bank or something idk. Anyway my main goal is to use it as a plugin with FL8 but i have no clue how. I made it so FL looks into the Creative Professional folder that has all my VST plugins from Proteus. But when i try to open it up it says "problem loading (ex. Protean Drums) for an unknown reason, make sure it has been installed correctly." I'm not really sure what to do, i think i might be missing some asio driver.. idk what that is though i just saw it from another form. I pretty sure its installed right cuz i can see all the sounds in my library when i open Proteus separately, but still i hav no clue what to do. If anyone has any ideas let me know.
