Plugin CPU Usage Suggestion

Would it be possible to combine the save channel state but also allow you to kind of shadow close the synth plugin you are using to remove its CPU usage completely? But keep all the information in the channel. If I have to wait for a second to load it back up from this sleep state I would not care. But project files can become tedious to maintain as you go. I think this would make everything much easier and more organized in the project.

Just a thought from a guy complaining about CPU usage earlier.
