Yes because originally, the samples on that region are short slapping plucked playing style, it is supposed to be used to accent certain notes in bassline phrase.
The same happens in this preset: [5String NewRock Slap]
Slide downs, actually I made some takes, but after discussion, we took them down, reasons:I noticed also many presets have a slide up effect when playing at 127. Is there a slide down too?
1. What mechanism to trigger slide downs? Also velocity switching? That will be super confusing to play.
2. Performance-wise, a guitarist typically tend to approach target note from the fret above.
Using slide downs, is only implemented at the very end of a phrase. Which then, can be also mimicked by glissando at fairly lower velocities.
3. Commonly on most of guitar patches (especially on h/w workstation keyboards) they only have slide ups.
Hopefully, in future, more articulations will be added for sure, but on another project.
Thanks for the feedback & glad to hear the positive comments
