I get a curious behavior when loading a drums MIDI file (created by myself in FL, with my own notes layout in FPC) to use with FPC.
If I drag and drop it from the browser, the notes are mapped properly as I created them (with my own notes layout in FPC), like this :
but if I select it directly with FPC, the notes are not mapped properly, like this :
but it's the same MIDI file!!!
It's weird!
I attach the FL project file, the MIDI file and the FPC preset (without the .wav files, it's not necessary to test) and my personal layout notes used in FPC
(my MIDI file, at my PC, is in... User Data\FL Studio\Presets\Scores\FPC drumloops\My Mapping\02 Basic but it doesn't matter, you can drag it from any folder)
(in .rar because ".notelayout" is not allowed in attach file on the forum)
My first hypothesis is this: when we create a custom note layout in FPC, it doesn't load the MIDI files correctly according to the layout with which the MIDI file was created, FPC loads them according to the default FL~FPC note layout, even if I use another personalized layout. That's why my kick which is supposed to be placed in C3 is placed in C#3, because with the default layout of FPC, the first pad, bottom left, is assigned to C#3. Except that with my "snare 1" which is supposed to be placed in D3, but which is placed in F3, it doesn't make sense because even with the default FPC layout this same pad is also assigned to D3. In short, I don't understand anything
I use FL v20.8.3 [build2293] 64Bit under W10
Thank you for your help!
