Hi everyone,
I'm returning to FL Studio after nearly a decade, but I haven't updated it from the version I bought way back then. I would be really grateful if the kind folk here could answer the following questions**:
1. As I purchased the Producer Edition, I presume lifetime free updates still apply?
2. Do I need to download another installer?
3. Do I need to update my license?
4. Will there be any technical problems updating from such an old version (version 10)? For example, losing data?
5. Is there anything else I should be aware of? For example, certain programs being renamed or deleted; common glitches; etc?
**These are no doubt addressed in the FAQ. Shortly after first purchasing the DAW, I received a brain injury that damaged many of my mental faculties. Resultantly, going through long lists with links all over the place is difficult for me, as is absorbing and properly understanding information. I've been reading the FAQ, but I want to ensure that what I've learned from it is correct. Please be gentle with me .
Many thanks in advance.
