clicking/declicking/crossfading of audio clips
i go into edison and make my perfect pad or vocal sample loop -- when looping in edison it's totally seamless, there are no clicks or pops to be found. i drag it into the playlist and duplicate it, and now it's clicking at the beginning of the duplicated clip. no amount of fussing with the declicking mode and then trimming the beginning or end of the clip will make it sound exactly the way it does in edison (and once i have to change the length of the clip to get the declicking fades to come in, the clip length is wrong and it's off the grid). is there something i'm doing wrong?
