What's difference between exporting "for common use" and "for sampler use"?

I couldn't find any answers after searching online. I'm curious about the difference between the two export types mentioned in the title.
I have a bunch of kick samples and want to know which way to export them from Edison/SliceX...

For common use will not add pitch and velocity ...

For sampler use will use the slice trigger note...
