I sometimes get lost while fiddling with melodies and find myself in a situation with a very long pattern. One benefit of this is to have everything in one single piano roll where I can quickly go to the section I want to edit. The disadvantage comes up when the melody is finished and I have a 32 bar pattern which is rather tedious to work with.
I know I can create like eight patterns beforehand and compose smaller sections there, but that's not what I end up with all the time. I know I can shorten or lengthen a pattern in the playlist and rearrange the pieces, but I'd like to know if there is an option to quickly split one long pattern into 2/4/8/... separate patterns (Brass Pattern Slice #1 - Brass Pattern Slice #2 etc.) afterwards without having to copy/paste small sections from the Piano Roll of the long pattern into new created Patterns like I use to do now.
Thanks in advance
