Is there a way to speed up a beat in Directave without changing the pitch?

I threw a drum sample loop that comes with FL Studio into Directwave and I noticed that when I set the default key (not sure about the jargon here but the orange key) to a higher note, the beat speeds up into a really cool breakbeat but the only problem is the pitch becomes completely warped due to the fact that I'm pitching up from the original key it is mapped to.

I'm completely new to Directwave, but I like it so far. Is there a way to map the loop to the speed and key I want but keep the sound quality of the default key it originated as?

I know people are probably going to tell me to just use Slicex, Edison or Newtime, but I am just curious if this is possible within Directwave.

If it is also possible with these others, then what would be the easiest way to do this?
