mix and master at the same time ?

Hello,

We often read that we must first do the mix and then export the complete track and then import it to do the mastering.
If the mastering is done by another person ok, but if I do it myself, is it recommended to do that way in FL Studio and why ?

If my mastering track is already set what is the difference between:
1 - Export my mix (without master effect) then import my track , activate my Master and export it again (with the master activated.)
2 - Export my mix with my master activated in 1 single pass

For me, solution 2 allows you to quickly make small adjustments in your mix (in a subtle way), without having to export the mix and reimport it each time to master it...
