How to map my Joystick with FL Studio?

How can I properly map my MPK Mini 2 Joystick to Fl studio's XY controllers?
This was posted about earlier, but it doesn't allow me into all four corners of the controller.

The formula gperkins95 uses :

Upper Half = Input*0.5+0.5
Lower Half = (1-Input)*0.5

This combination doesn't allow full sync between the midi and virtual controllers.
