Hi folks, it's time for the next installment of the Looptalk monthly contest!
As we've seen in recent months, there's a lot that you can do with some lesser used tools, and this is no exception. This month's competition centres around the use of a plugin that doesn't seem to see a whole lot of use, and isn't always the most favourably looked upon - Autogun. Love it or hate it, let's see what crazy sounds we can squeeze out of it! 
The rules are simple and as follows:1. Create a track of any genre. Minimum length 1:30, max length 7:00. Multiple entries may be submitted if you wish, up to a maximum of three entries.
2. Provide your entry as an mp3 uploaded to the forum or Soundcloud or other similar sites.
3. Provide the zipped loop package of your project.
4. The only samples which may be used are drum or percussion samples which are from the samples included in the FL installer. These samples may be used for drum and percussion elements only - i.e. not used as or used to create risers etc. Tonal drum samples (such as using an elongated 808 bass drum to make a bassline, for example) are prohibited. The use of FPC, Slicex, Fruity Slicer etc is permitted only for drum samples. Samples may be used for purposes such as convolution reverb impulses or envelope sources, so long as it is a drum or percussion sample.
5. You may not use any third party samples or self recorded samples.
6. All sounds apart from the drum/percussion samples (as set out above) MUST be generated by Autogun. No other generators/synths may be used. Exporting and resampling, either as a sample or imported into a plugin such as Slicex, Fruity Slicer, Harmor resynthesis engine is prohibited. You may use the mixer and effects, routing etc to process the sound generated by Autogun in any other way that you please.
7.Generators which are used as controllers rather than actual sound generators, such as Envelope Controller and Keyboard Controller, are permitted and the only exceptions to the rule above.
8. If you are struggling with CPU usage during project playback, consolidation of patterns to audio clips is permissible only if the original generator and all effects and routing are present in the project file and no further processing is done to the audio clip, i.e. no further effects applied to the clip, no chopping/rearranging the clip whether in the playlist, Slicex, Fruity Slicer etc. The consolidated clip must be used as it is.
9. You must use only FL native Imageline plugins, no third party plugins.
10. The contest begins as of this post on 30 June 2021 and entry for submissions will end at midnight on 25 July 2021, GMT. Following this there will be a voting period from 26 July to 29 July, after which the winner with the most votes will be announced.
11. The winner of this contest hosts the next contest.
12. In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided by RNG.
