app to move project data directory

I manage many projects as a producer for hire, and sometimes I need to move files to another storage device. As you know, that creates a situation where you have to load the project twice. First, get an error message, point to a new directory, and then load the project properly. I'd like to save some time loading my old projects that were moved.
Would it be difficult to create a simple tool to open .flp project files and point to a new project data directory without the need to open the project in FL Studio?
