It's possible! And you can even be picky =) You can use Levendis' thumbnails, or mine:
Here's how to install either of them:
Just copy all the .png files to
C:\Users\<YOURNAMEHERE>\Documents\Image-Line\FL Studio\Artwork\Thumbnails
then restart FL Studio.
You can also contribute your own thumbnails
It's very easy. Levendis has provided GIMP files for the template. I attached the tool I used as archive - extract that one and open the .html in a capable browser. Yes, that's right, browsers can do such things nowadays. There are different styles to chose from, including two mimicking levendis' original style (although not perfectly) and two inspired by Ryota Lore (66px in size, square and round). You are even allowed to modify the code, should you feel the urge to.
Since I only needed/wanted these icons in Patcher, I've only done them for plugins that can be loaded in Patcher. Feel very free to add the ones your missing
