What I like to add to the thinking process: What happens if you have routed the recording track to a Reverb Send for example? Usually the send volume is not the default volume, so no easy resetting to default, neither. In this case muting the Input Channel Master Send does not prevent recorded audio from being audible (reverberated).Scott wrote: ↑Mon Jul 19, 2021 7:38 amWe are looking at the whole recording workflow. The need to auto-mute the Input Channel Master send is on the list for consideration. If we do this it would be an option.Jonny Jones wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 10:34 pmThe only missing option to make audio recording PERFECT is a feature to turn off monitoring when an audio input source is selected. I'd like to monitor my voice through my apollo interface, not through FL Studio.
I was thinking it could be linked to the Master Record button.
When its on, the Input is open and Master send is OFF
When its off, the Input is (none) and Master send ON.
Solution: If you don't want to hear what is recorded, why not just mute the mixer track recorded in?
If the recording position is set to one of the following:
-External input only
-External and mixer input
-Post FX
-Post EQ
-Post level and panning
the track will be muted but the recording will still work fine. Only selecting 'Post Track' the mute switch is recorded.
