Something is weird with Parametric EQ 2 - is it a bug?

Hi there!

I have been wondering about Parametric EQ2 for a while, checked again and again and allways felt it did something weird to the sound... now I have discovered that it does indeed not behave as expected, but I still don't know what exactly is going on.

I did a nulling test (send audio through 2 parallel channels, invert one of them, Put the EQ on one of them), and indeed, if you load a fresh instance of Prametric EQ 2, it doesn't null, it's not even close to null.

BUT if you now uncheck "HQ", or if you now select the "Default" preset (which is with "HQ"), it nulls.

I have tried to find anything that is different on the preset that it starts with compared to the "Default" preset, but have found nothing.
Now I know that I have to load that preset every time I open an instance... and then it doesn't do the weird thing that I was hearing before (which can sound a bit like some type of quality loss or compression to me).

Does anybody know what's going on? Is this a bug?
