Midi dialog box is a pain in the....

SO lets say I hava a vst called kontakt.
Kontakt has a HUGE program inside, which loads for some time.
I browse this program to select preset, I tweak preset for a few minutes.
Then I think: It would be nice to start from some midi file I have.

So I drag and drop midi file from browser onto channel.
Do midid dialog box comes up.
So I press escape to close it, cause I`ve spent some time now making a cool sample.
So pressing ESC DELETE my vst plugin. :x :x :x

HOW TO TURN OFF this stupid, not-needed, wildly and widely hated midi dialog box?
Really this is frustrating. I work on FL extremally fast, I cant import some hihat, just to have flex taking over this channel, so I can copy and paste desired midi onto Kontakt channel.

NOT TO MENTION midid dialog box is showing even IF I drop midi file on flex channel. :?: :?: :?:
