midi channel through, but no pitch

-enabled Linnstrument in midi settings
-in the "channel rack" i set the vst Surge to "midi channel through"
-locked the channel to all of the linnstruments midi-channels

I get sound, but no pitch, modulation or "after touch".
I hit record and all the midi-colors are represented in the pianoroll.

it works in Bitwig.


Isn't mpe just one temporary midichannel for each pressed key, so each sound can be pitched and modulated independenlty?
