I'm recording metal guitar in FL, and I know how to make a Direct Input track, just link an adjacent, blank, mixer track and arm recording, for both tracks. And boom, I have two tracks; one distorted guitar track (using an amp sim), and one identical clean tone guitar track (for re-amping later, if need be). This works like a charm.
The only problem is, when I'm recording I can hear both; the "amped" guitar, AND the clean DI input. Is there a way to record those simultaneously without hearing that 2nd DI track?
