I haven't used Patcher as an instrument rack, but I think I have to use it because 125 mixer channels are not enough. I think I will put synths and effects in a Patcher so that I can save some mixer channels.
But, the problem is then how do I render the synths out? I always render synths with turning the effects off in order to save cpu usage. Is there a way to load rendered audio stem on to the patcher instrument rack that has all the effecs are loaded?
